Patrons and fans of Kojo Antwi’s songs will be treated to new perspectives by the Maestro on Sunday, December 24, 2023.
The over 2,000-capacity auditorium of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) in Legon-Madina is expected to be filled as the show has always been known for.
The 32nd edition is expected to be different from the previous ones as the Maestro seeks to improve on stage appearance and performances on a yearly basis.
Also featuring at this year’s ‘annual music ritual’ is another ‘lover boy’, Kwabena Kwabena, and Akwaboah Junior.
Also from Jamaica is Hezron and Jeff Bogolobango from Cote d’Ivoire, plus other grand surprises.
At the 31st edition, which was held at the De Icon in East Legon, the music legend asked his fans to request songs of their choice ahead of time.
The venue has been changed due to the capacity of the De Icon, which Kojo believes cannot accommodate his fans.
Songs such as ‘Adiepena’, ‘Medo Nsroma’, ‘Akonoba’, ‘Emireka’, ‘Shining Star’, among others were requested way ahead.
So, the question is, what would be the surprise for the 32nd edition since Kojo is full of surprises. Only the day can answer.
At last year’s edition, Kojo Antwi was carried in a palanquin by heavily built men onto the stage. How would he come on stage this year? Come to the UPSA Auditorium to witness this magnificent stagecraft of appearance.
Even though the economic situation has caused the slow pace of preparations for the 2023 Christmas, ardent fans and patrons have already secured their tickets of either GH₵1,500 for the First Class, GH₵1,000 for the Business Class or GH₵350 for the Club Class to the much-anticipated guest artiste on December 24.
Kojo, in a social media post, said “a special night to GET KOJO ANTWIFIED this Christmas Eve.
An intimate night of love and music at the UPSA Auditorium, Legon – Madina.
