Dumelo to contest once more in the Ayawaso West Wuogon NDC primaries

John Dumelo, a well-known Ghanaian actor has started his campaign for the National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary primaries in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
On Sunday, February 26, the celebrated actor Cum Farmer made a social media announcement about his plans.
If he sails through the primaries, this will be the second time the actor will be contesting the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat.
“After extensive consultation with my God, my family and our party faithful in Ayawaso West Wuogon! This is the second coming,” Mr. Dumelo wrote on his socials.

Dumelo lost the 2020 parliamentary elections to NPP’s Lydia Alhassan. He garnered 37,478 representing 48.30% while Lydia Aalhassan polled 39,851 representing 51.36%.

Dumelo will face competition from another actor and movie producer, Fred Nuamah who also announced his intention to contest the National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary slot for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
