The management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has suspended the Ashanti regional director, Alex Opoku-Mensah with immediate effect.
Mr Opoku-Mensah was recorded after he waded into a misunderstanding between a female nurse on duty and a doctor identified as his daughter.
In a statement on Thursday (December 1), the NSS said, “The management decision is to allow further investigation into the alleged verbal assault on a nurse on duty at the Manhyia Government Hospital in Kumasi.”
