Asiedu Nketia And Kpessa Whyte As Witnesses To Testify In The Election Petition For Mahama

In the election petition hearing, John Dramani Mahama, the NDC presidential candidate in 2020, has called on two witnesses to testify on his behalf in court.
Both are NDC Secretary General Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte, who worked on the
National Collation Center (strong room) of the Electoral Committee on December 7 before the results were released.
Mr. Mahama aims to subtract the election results which supported Nana Akufo-Addo of the NPP.

On Tuesday January 26, the court told Mr. Mahama’s legal team of power that they will enforce sanction  including the dismissal of the petitionif their orders were disobeyed.
This was after Mr. Mahama’s team refused to follow an injunction onJanuary 20 to submit witness statements and legal arguments concerning the respondents’ original objection.
Since then, Mr. Mahama’s team has sent both papers.
