Shatta Wale seeks support from Nigeria after calling Ghana Music Industry a disgrace

Shatta Wale, a dancehall and afrobeat musician, has criticised Ghana’s music industry and appealed to Nigerians for support.

A few months ago, Shatta Wale attacked Grammy Award-winning musician Burna Boy while disclosing some of the musician’s murky business dealings. During their exchange, some Nigerians on Twitter flocked to his page to criticise him.

While requesting help from Nigerians, Shatta Wale called the Ghanaian music industry a “disgrace” and criticized it.

However, it appears Shatta Wale has taken his words back and has realized that the Nigerian market will be of great help to his music career as he seeks assistance.

While seeking assistance from Nigerians, Shatta Wale berated the Ghanaian music industry describing it as a “disgrace”.

He also heaped praise on Nigerians for rolling out measures that have seen development in their music production and artiste development, a move that has birthed great collaborations with foreign artists and nominations for top awards.
