Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face, is a Ghanaian comic actor and comedian.
Some months ago, the actor was battling with depression due to some marital issues with his former baby mama, Vanessa and his twin girls.
After suffering from pain and sadness due to many failed relationships and being denied access to his twin daughters, Ella and Bella, Funny Face became the talk of social media.
It would be recalled that video were widespread on social media capturing the moments Funny Face was being mishandled by some police officers after he reportedly fired some gunshots at Kasoa.
This, however, ended him up in a psychiatric hospital for mental evaluation which came out successfully as he bounces back to his usual duties.
He believes that the Ghana Police Service’s beatings after he was picked up helped him overcome his depression.
Funny Face took a moment to thank the Ghana Police Service for their efforts in helping him recover the depression and trauma he was going through while speaking with the legendary Kwaku Sintim-Misa, also known as KSM on “The KSM Show” on Pan African TV.
He also praised Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police, for the part he played in helping him restore his sanity.
