Ghana Airports Company gets new MD

The President, Nana Akufo Addo has appointed Mrs. Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare as the new Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited.
The appointment follows the retirement of Pamela Djamson-Tettey from the position after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 60. This was announced in a letter from the Minister of Transport, Kwaku Ofori Asiamah addressed to the Board Chairman of the GACL.
Madam Djamson-Tettey served as the MD for GACL from February 2022. The Transport Minister directed the Board Chairman to ensure that employees of the company, who are sixty (60) years old and above, proceed on retirement.
The Transport Minister also directed the Board Chairman to urgently facilitate the exit of the under-listed persons, Group Executive, Procurement Emmanuel Akotoa Fianko Col (Rtd), Director Aviation Security Emmanuel Akohene Mensah, Director, Airports Planning & Projects. Yaw Appiah-Danquah.
