John Dumelo, an actor and politician, took to social media to publicly congratulate his wife, Gifty Mawunya Dumelo, on her recent achievement.
Dumelo expressed his delight and pride in his wife being called to the Ghana Bar in an Instagram post shared on his official account, and congratulated her on her new title as “Mrs. Gifty Mawunya Dumelo Esq.”
“Congratulations my love @missgeeonly for being called to the Ghana Bar today,” he wrote. “You are now Mrs. Gifty Mawunya Dumelo Esq”
A clearly proud husband of his wife’s accomplishments, John Dumelo announced that he is already lining up cases for her to tackle.
“I have cases for you already lol. Love you,” he posted

She is the little sister of seasoned actress Selassie Ibrahim and prior to her marriage to John Dumelo, she was a Ghanaian lawyer based in the United Kingdom.
Mrs. Dumelo is a graduate of Central University and also holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Dumelo’s Instagram post has since gone viral, receiving thousands of likes and comments from fans and well-wishers across the globe.
As a proud husband, Dumelo has already lined up cases for his wife to tackle, as he looks forward to her contribution to the legal profession.
The couple have been married since May 2018, and have a son and daughter together.
