Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy has been found not guilty of six counts of rape and one charge of sexual assault.
On Friday a jury was discharged after failing to reach a verdict on two other charges.
The Crown Prosecution Service has said that it will seek a retrial over the count of rape and attempted rape where a verdict was not reached.
The trial has been taking place since August 13. Mendy has been suspended from playing for his club.
Co-accused Louis Saha Matturie was found not guilty of three counts of rape against two women.
Jurors were unable to reach verdicts on six more charges against him.
