Wolves’ social media team took the opportunity to brutally troll Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp following his recent comments.
Last weekend, Liverpool lost 2-1 at Tottenham in a game marred by controversy after Luis Diaz’s first-half strike was flagged off-side by the linesman.
Despite replays showing the Liverpool forward was onside, the video assistant referee (VAR) told referee Simon Hooper that the check was complete and no change should be made to the on-field decision.
On Tuesday evening, the PGMOL – the body responsible for officiating in English football – released the VAR audio of the decision-making process for Diaz’s wrongly disallowed goal and conversation between the officials involved.
Klopp then reacted to the news and felt that a replay “would be the right thing” to do.

“The audio didn’t change it at all. It is an obvious mistake,” he said. “There should be solutions for that. The outcome should be a replay. But it probably won’t happen.
“The argument against that would be it opens the gates. It is unprecedented. I’m used to wrong and difficult decisions, but something like this never happened.”
However Wolves wanted to get their own back and posted a video to TikTok in which they referred to a press conference involving Klopp.

The West Midlands club were denied a late winner against the Reds after the linesman flagged for offside and VAR upheld the on-field decision after it was reported that VAR official Mike Dean did not have a camera angle of the alleged offside.
After the game, a different camera angle showed that the goal should’ve counted as no player was offside in the build up.
Julen Lopetegui, who was Wolves manager at the time said: “We have seen it, and the offside doesn’t exist.
“It’s impossible, but someone has told him that it is offside. We have seen the image, and it doesn’t exist.”
