Omane Boamah named NDC election director ahead of 2024 polls

In preparation for the 2024 national elections, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has selected former communication minister Edward Omane Boamah as its director of elections and information technology (IT).
In a statement issued on Thursday (24 August), the NDC’s general secretary, Fifi Kwetey, also chose Joshua Alabi, Samuel Sarpong, and Abdul Rauf Khalid as vice chairpersons.
After the party’s national executive committee meeting on Thursday, legal practitioner Godwin Kudzo Tameklo was also appointed the new director of legal affairs.

The former deputy general secretary of the NDC, Peter Boamah Otokunor also heads the inter-party/CSO relations of the largest opposition party in Ghana.
