The family of the late Ghanaian international Christian Atsu has set 4th March for his one-week observation.
The decision was taken after a meeting between the family, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Ministry of Sports.
The 31-year-old, who played for both Chelsea and Newcastle during his time in the Premier League, was caught up in the 7.8 magnitude earthquake which occurred on February 6.
Meanwhile, some former Black Stars players have visited the family of the late Atsu in Accra to commiserate with them.
The team led by former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan include Sulley Muntari, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu, Haminu Dramani and Baffour Gyan.
The former national team players also used the opportunity to sign the book of condolence at the family house here in Accra.
