Oppong Nkrumah Challenges Mahama On Claims That NDC Has Won 140 Majority Seats

Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has completely rubbished claims by the NDC presidential candidate, John Mahama stating that his party has won majority of seats in parliament.

He said no certified results have proven that the NDC has won that number of seats. Therefore, Ghanaians should disregard that claim by Mahama.

He wondered why the NDC will also claim to have won the 2020 Elections just because it claims to have won over President Akufo-Addo.

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah also described as worrying how the NDC called on its supporters to go out to jubilate.

He explained that, this is contrary to the peace pact signed by Mahama, Akufo-Addo, and the other presidential candidates.

He issued a stern warning to the NDC that, it’s behaviour and comments about the election could cause chaos and tension.

Meanwhile, Mahama had earlier cautioned the Electoral Commission (EC) against declaring President Akufo-Addo as the winner of the 2020 Elections.

He gave his full reasons in an earlier report by bibinionline.com.
