President Nana Akufo-Addo on Thursday, December 10, 2020, resumed work, a day after been declared as the President-elect for the 2020 polls.
Akufo-Addo defeated his contender, former President John Dramani Mahama in the just-ended general elections, obtaining a 50.595% of the total valid votes cast where as Mahama managed to obtain 47.366% of the total valid votes cast.
But, Mahama has rejected the outcome, citing electoral fraud in favor of the NPP flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.
Amid accusations of a stolen verdict from the opposition NDC, the Akufo-Addo administration returned to work right after the declaration.
“The President after his declaration as President-elect by the electoral commission has been back at work on Thursday, December 10, 2020 performing his official duties at the Jubilee House”.
Accra-based Asaase Radio quoted Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah as he stated.
