Shatta Wale explains why he was missing at the Hogbetsotso festival concert (Video)

Fans of the Shatta Movement in the Volta region have asked their leader, Shatta Wale, also known as Charles Nii Armah Mensah, to explain to them why he was in their territory but did not participate at the just ended Hogbetsotso festival.

He appeared with his crew but did not mount the stage.

However, in a video we’ve observed of Shatta Wale explaining why he decided to skip the event, he claims that he made a deal with the organizers to be taken directly to his hotel to avoid being surrounded by people in the crowd from the neighborhood. But even so, the organizers refused to honor that agreement and instead asked him to do a radio interview so that they could take him to his hotel.

In the video, Shatta Wale questioned how he could carry his luggage to the radio station without first settling down. He then inquired as to whether that is how the nation treats foreign musicians that come to reside here.
Below, you can see Shatta Wale explain himself.
