TikTok content creators and brand influencers on the app, Erkuah official and Wesley Kesse have in an interview with the accra-based TV3 revealed how much they make via the social app that has become the new wave for online users.
Erkuah who has been able to amass over 4.2M followers with a record of about 60,000 views spoke about her life before and after TikTok and talked about the difficulty in even taking care of herself as she struggled to afford basic necessities but thanks to the app has been able to make a fortune for herself and also
“This is how we make our money. When people like brands come to us and want us to advertise something for them, I charge you and make a video for you. Song promotions. And we also make money through live streams,” Erkuah Official said.
The two also revealed how promotions for brands are handled whilst acting as ambassadors, and use their platforms to sell and make money. On the back of that, they have concluded that making between GHC 5,000 and GHC 10,000 on TikTok has been the best thing to happen to them.
TikTok has built a relevance through its users as we see even with song promotions. Most artists usually do business with famous accounts on the app since their numbers (followers) are influenced by who they follow and is today undoubtedly one of the biggest advertisement platforms. Its wide range of age groups has ensured the app becomes a mainstay in the online space.
